Happy New Year – A Classy Cocktail For Your Holiday

Home/Uncategorized/Happy New Year – A Classy Cocktail For Your Holiday

Champagne and cheesecake – could there be a better holiday celebration?  Why yes!  Amp up your bubbles with this home-made holiday cocktail recipe.  Here’s what you need:

Spumante Blood Orange Pomegranate Champagne

1 Blood Orange

1 Bottle Spumante (or other sweet bubbly)

1/2 Pomegranate Seeds

1 Chuckanut Bay Cheesecake (New York or Chocolate Truffle)

We’re using spumante, which is a sparkling Italian wine that is sweeter and bit fruitier than most champagne. The extra sweetness pairs well with the rich, dense creaminess of our cheesecakes.

Squeezing the Blood Orange

To make this stunning cocktail, all you need to do is slice up your blood orange and squeeze into your bubbles. Drop in a few pomegranate seeds, and watch ’em fizz!

Last Step

Grab a slice of cheesecake, sit back, and relax with loved ones to ring in 2014 in  style.

Chuckanut Bay Foods wishes you and yours a happy, healthy, and delicious new year!
